...interesting story here. The '85 and '86 Inglenooks were part of a large speculative purchase by a company set-up to buy and hold wines, with the expectation that values would go nowhere but up. Holding onto a liquid investment proved difficult for them, and some years later, they found themselves in bankruptcy and were forced to dump the whole lot. The Wine Exchange in Orange, CA, picked up a large amount of each of these wines, and sold them at the store in late 1995 for $8.49 & $9.99/bottle. About 3 yrs later, I saw some of the '86 at another local merchant for $35!
